Statistics

Each block, ward and iv unit uploaded on the portal will be shown below. It will show the distinct items that exist in either boundary data or listing or both. You can scrutinize the data or even edit data using buttons provided.

Note: For items not having record number shown, the boundaries for those items have not been uploaded to portal or the data might have been wrongly entered/edited in some of the listing items.

You can download description of all boundaries uploaded in the portal in an easy to read (print) format using the button given below.

Help / Details

The table displayed above shows combination of three values - IV Unit number, block number and ward number. If any number changes, it is treated as a new block. And 01 is treated separate from 1 and 0001, so do not use prefixed zeroes in any value.

Ideally, there should be no entry with Absent as value in record number column (for IDs other than JSO ID and SSO ID. Unless you have uploaded listing with one JSO ID and boundary with another JSO ID.) after loading all data. If any block shows absent, either upload the boundary with those values or use the table to find out where the problem might be.

If you see that the grouping is shown as separate, change the block numbers to merge them as one. If there is difference in IV unit number or ward number, or same block and iv pair has already been assigned change the values by going to listing page, filtering for the odd values and update data from there. After updating, they should appear as expected.

If the IV Unit number, ward number and block number are shown as empty values, then this is the case of portal error. Due to a bug in the original Bhuvan portal, the data updated during the existence of bug was updated to empty values. This can be rectified by finding out the true values and updating them using the portal.

To find out actual values, there is no work around but only guessing based on the time of capture of the entry or based on the location of the listing item. You can download the location of these items by clicking the Download KML button (sub-menu in Download CSV button), and then using this file in QGIS to view their location.

After finding the original values, data can be updated by clicking the edit item by record number button (only available in concerned JSO ID) and then updating it from there.
